Early heart run.
As you step through the door a siren goes off, the sound echoing in your ears for several minutes as the world goes completely black and empty.
You’re not falling but you’re not really standing on anything either, and all that you can percieve is the sirens still blaring, loud loud loud in your ears--
There’s an explosion so huge you don’t see or hear it so much as feel it through to your very bones. You feel an impact, strange and unsettling, and you think you might be dead? Because you can’t feel your body anymore.
Slowly the sound begins to fade and light and feeling returns, allowing you to see where you are. You’re also alive, good for you.
You end up here at the end. Unless you're Yuki, who ends up here.

Chessboard
Re: Chessboard
Wonderland. Why does it have to be fucking Wonderland?
[ He raises an eyebrow as he notices the direction with plants. ]
That's different, though...
[ He starts walking in the same direction the plants are going. ]

Re: Chessboard
[shakes his head to try and clear it, looking around]
A chess board...? Looks like Wonderland. Huh.
[heading to check out the flowers]
Re: Chessboard
A small checkered chess path winds through the flowers, ending in a smooth stone wall. The stone is so perfectly polished it shines like glass.

The Winter Garden
There is one spot of color here though. A beautiful(?) patch of sunflowers... They really don’t mesh with the landscape though. They keep clipping through the terrain like the badly rendered graphics they are.

The Mansion - Entrance
Directly ahead is a winding ornate staircase to the second floor. Tucked under the stairs is a sunny yellow door, perhaps a parlor. To the left is an ornate wooden door, and to the right is a more simple but no less expensive white door. The door to the left is barred and the door to the right has no handle. There is of course the door out to the garden as well.

Sunshine Parlour
There is the smell of cabbage being cooked from the kitchen, and a small ruffian glares at you from the back of one of the chairs.
There are creeping vines everywhere in this area, they a black and covered in thorns and growing even in front of your eyes.

The Mansion - Upstairs landing
The right hall on the other hand has more ornate doors. There’s a door with a relief of a book, and another made entirely of stained glass, brilliant and beautiful. In odd contrast there’s a door that looks to have been burned badly, barely hanging on its hinges. At the end of the hall is a metal door, bolted shut with any number of locks and bars.
Re: The Mansion - Upstairs landing
[heads down the left hallway and touches each door to see if that triggers anything]

King's Suite
Through a door to the left there is a bedroom, and the bed is an enormous, king sized, four poster affair, with silver silk and satin sheets, and turquoise pillows. How... bright. One entire wall is covered in mirrors... Um...
Oh on closer inspection the mirrors are the sliding door to the closet.
Re: King's Suite
Wow, this is pretty luxurious...!

Shrine
The center piece of the room is a shrine, an altar to the subject of the room. A huge picture of Kazuki’s smile graces the altar, and incense and candles and items litter the surface. A gameboy, a crown, a length of rope, a silver key, a bloody knife, a fresh cut sunflower. There’s a body pillow propped against the altar too.
The whole room has a strange, breathless feeling of deep love and devotion devotion devotion obsession love... It’s overwhelming.
Even more overwhelming and disturbing is that one of the wall keeps moving. One moment it’s a wall covered in pictures of Kazuki, the next it’s a field of sunflowers with Kazuki as a child passed out on the ground, the next it’s a scene of carnage and war, dead bodies everywhere--Kazuki holding your hand and running--wait are you looking at a wall or is this really happening to you? You’re older and so is Kazuki and you’re kissing but he’s not responding to it and it breaks your heart no you’re confused you don’t know who this person is he’s telling you about Aather and he’s kind and has a brilliant smile no you’re bleeding, tied to a chair, you think you might be dying but you can hear his voice calling you----
The scenes flicker faster and faster and it’s hard to disassociate yourself from them for a moment or two. They settle again, it’s just a wall. No it’s a field of sunflowers....
There’s also a constant annoying background noise.
The room is a mess. You might want to be careful.

???
The whole area has a protected feeling of comfort.
Sitting on one of the couches, properly for such a little boy, is a child of about five. He has to lean forward to reach his tea, which is on the coffee table. He looks at you with wide, violet eyes. The boy himself seems a little ethereal, almost unreal. If you blink, it nearly seems like he’s shorted out of existence entirely. But when you look again he’s whole and there.
