Early heart run.

As you step through the door a siren goes off, the sound echoing in your ears for several minutes as the world goes completely black and empty.

You’re not falling but you’re not really standing on anything either, and all that you can percieve is the sirens still blaring, loud loud loud in your ears--

There’s an explosion so huge you don’t see or hear it so much as feel it through to your very bones. You feel an impact, strange and unsettling, and you think you might be dead? Because you can’t feel your body anymore.

Slowly the sound begins to fade and light and feeling returns, allowing you to see where you are. You’re also alive, good for you.

You end up here at the end. Unless you're Yuki, who ends up here.

That means a lot to me... so, if this place is love, then--then I can't just leave without fixing it.

[nods, then reaches over to touch Bishop's cheek]

He leans into it, the blood on his cheek turning to ash.

[quietly]

I know Kazuki's your king, and I wouldn't ever take that away from you... it's just, the way you seem so obsessed with him is... it seems like it's hurting. So I wanna help make it better.

"Sometimes things need to be eliminated. But serving Kazuki is why I exist."

Maybe it was, but you have a lot of other things that give you reason to exist now.

"He is still my primary reason for existing. That won't change."

I figured it was something like that... there's something else, too.

"What is that?"

[takes a deep breath]

If you ever find yourself without a King... if, for whatever reason, you can't serve Kazuki anymore... then, just know that, I would have you.

It's more complicated than that. I'm still sorting through my feelings over it, and... it scares me enough to make me want to run away. But I think...

I think that, even if I ran to the ends of the earth, I still couldn't run away from it. I'm not ready to accept it yet, but... if it was for you, I'd manage somehow.

[lets go of his cheek, and then cracks his knuckles]

[heads back into the closet]

"No, I believe you've done enough."

The Bishop grabs your braid. There's a moment of disorientation. You find yourself alone in the upstairs hall, the door locked behind you.

What--?!

[spins around, confused--and tries the doorknob, to no avail]

Hey--!

[bangs on the door a few times]

No answer, and the door remains closed.

[... starts to cry]

Shit, I'm sorry, I--! I wasn't gonna hurt you, I didn't mean to, I really didn't--!

[bangs his head on the door, pounding it a few more times with his fist]

Idiot! You stupid fucking idiot, Typhoon! What the hell did you even come here for?!

No one answers you. The hall is cool and quiet, it feels lonely.

[lets out a harsh, angry, upset noise and runs downstairs, back to the white door. he reaches out a touches it again, breath hitching as he speaks]

D-do you want me gone?

The door doesn't answer you. Hail is standing in Heliodor's doorway.

"What is wrong?"
