What we learned:
Well that's a sociopathic memory... This occurs during the first Di[e]ce, has a fair bit of exposition, is part of Sion's ~mysterious introduction~

Sion's pretty calm and a bit doki over Kazuki for all this. No real reaction to "we're killing a bunch of our innocent classmates" because haha why would he care?

The biggest stress is the Di[e]ce countdown because if it reaches zero and they don't clear the game they're all going to die.

ADDITIONAL: Since this was taken during the AU event Sion sees this as having Kazuki in his lap after he's suffered heat stroke in some sports event. Yuki and Haruki are hovering (and maybe Yuki has cat ears?) and it's just a silly nonsense memory of horsing around after that and heading back to the event, probably a school festival? There is nothing traumatic or terrible!

ANYONE AU'D MAY SEE THE MEMORY AS AU and then remember it as normal when the illusion ends. Anyone not AU'd will see the memory as normal.

What we learned:
So this is right before the first Di[e]ce. Sion knows it's going to be soon so he's prepared but when it actually starts it surprises him a little. After all he can predict and track Di[e]ce but the actual start is unknown until it happens!

Nothing much here, just the beginning of it all. And presumably fighting his way through people who were classmates and possibly friends in order to find Kazuki.

ADDITIONAL: Since Sion took this in the AU event his impression will be that it's a memory of; the school thermostat is broken it's the middle of a blizzard but it's hot! And there's an announcement for the blizzard on the speakers.

Exciting!

Will remember it as normal when AU event ends.

What we learned:
Kazuki's a brat but I'll do anything for him, even if it means disobeying him for his own good. This memory follows this one.

ADDITIONALLY: Taken during AU event, anyone viewing it who is AU'd will see this as a memory of Kazuki collapsing due to heat exhaustion and Sion asking Yuki to go find the nurse.

AFTER THE EVENT the memory will revert to normal.

What we learned:
So confirming that Sion is pretty sure Ruka isn't Yuki but is biding his time about it. And keeping a way eye on things too. He's not 100% sure it's not Yuki, which is why he's allowing Ruka to exist for now.

What we learned:
After this and before this.

So just having been brainwashed Sion is very tired and beaten down for this memory. so much emotional exhaustion. LOOK AT HOW TRAUMATIZED AND CRYING HE IS IN THE FIRST PAGE this is a memory after some HEAVY BRAINWASHING SHIT. So. So he feels beat and sad and lost and scared and so so so drained and he's only a tiny five year old this is a lot to take in and hear about and everything is awful but now he's resigned and maybe a little determined? He can... He can help maybe. Prevent war anyway, even if it's awful.

ADDITIONALLY: He's taking this during the AU event so Gara is his brother, Akikage is an uncle. The scenario is totally different! Akikage is hugging Gara and Sion because they just had a fight! And then he tells them about this one time he fought his own brother and it was sad. And brothers fighting is sad. So as brothers they should get along. And he makes them a good meal and they sit and are tired and sad and listen and agree to get along better and it's a sad, drained memory but one with determination. TREAT MY BROTHER BETTER! GET OVER DIFFERENCES!! Basically normal five year old problems not... brainwashing and death games.

Anyone taking it who is AU'd will see the AU until the end of the event, the memory will then revert to normal.

What we learned:
So it's been a week since the first Di[e]ce and clearly Naoto has since joined them. Things to note, Kazuki is happily carefree still, and does want to protect Yuki. But he phrases it as Yuki being useless. No wonder Yuki has such self-esteem issues. Naoto's comment on family is just depressing in context. Yuki clearly feels useless and a burden and wants to prove himself and Kazuki obviously doesn't get it at all.

There is also something going on here with Yuki's family, issues? Sion in the memory probably knows what's up but the memory doesn't cover it. At the least Sion will now get the sense that Yuki's family life wasn't great.

ADDITIONALLY: Taken during the AU event the memory will look like Yuki, Naoto, Kazuki and Sion have been hanging out at Kazuki's house while his grandma is out of town visiting relatives. Yuki's parents have texted, worrying, and he says he'll head home! Kazuki offers to go with him and Yuki gets flustered, no! He's old enough to go home himself god! Jeez Kazuki! MILDEST EVER HUFF.

Non-AU people will see it as normal. The memory will revert to normal when the event ends.

What we learned:
So okay all those pages are a bunch of different panels of the same moment. But anyway.

SO THIS MEMORY.

Sion is bleeding and beaten and has been tortured and dragged to this warehouse and roughed up and he's lost a lot of blood (technically more than a human body contains but MANGA) and is dazed and in so much pain that he can't really think or function. Honestly it's a wonder he's not completely unconscious but he may as well be for all his ability to move, think, or respond. He's near catatonic just from pain and bloodloss.

ALL THAT SAID, it's Kazuki's voice calling his name that penetrates. A flash of panic and fear when he hears Kazuki calling him, he wants to respond to Kazuki that it's a trap. He's afraid, because he wants to protect Kazuki. That desire overrides everything. Everything everything everything. He has to protect Kazuki!

However hasn't Awakened and can't do anything because of the state of his body and it's debatable if he even retains consciousness for more than a few seconds after Kazuki calls him here.

But there is basically the will to protect Kazuki absolutely, regardless of anything else ever.
